Shipping

Our printed books (the board book and the hardcover of your kid's stories) are printed for each order and sent by our printing partner, Printful, from its print centers in the United States. This page explains where we send them, how long they take, what shipping costs, customs and how to follow your package. The full conditions of sale are in our Terms.
Where we send them
- United States.
- The European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
- Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
We don't send to the United Kingdom. The order page only offers the countries we send to. You can send a book to yourself or, as a gift, straight to someone else, with your message and no prices on the packing slip. A book given from our gifts page goes to the address the buyer gives, which the kid's family can correct within the same country before they approve the book.
How long it takes
Each book is printed only for your order, then shipped. Before you pay, the order page shows the shipping methods our printer offers for your address, each with its estimated delivery days. Those days come from Printful at that moment, for that address: they are estimates, not a promise of a day. A book paid before its stories, or given as a gift, is printed only once it's approved: its days count from that approval.
For example, on October 21, 2026, Printful's shipping page said that printing takes 2 to 5 business days, and standard shipping from its US print centers 3 to 4 business days within the United States and 5 to 20 business days to other countries. And on October 15, 2026, a board book ordered for Spain had an estimated delivery between October 24 and November 2, about 9 to 18 days. Those are only examples, with their dates: the days that count are the ones shown before you pay.
If your book hasn't arrived 30 days after the last estimated day, write to us: we'll trace it with the carrier and send you a new one or refund you (Terms, section 11).
What shipping costs
The price of each shipping method is calculated by Printful at the moment, for your address and the method you choose. We show it before you pay, on its own line next to the book's price, with the total. We don't add anything to it. In the European Union it includes VAT.
For example, on October 15, 2026, Printful's shipping for a board book to Spain started at €13.49, and its shipping page listed the hardcover at €13.49 to Europe and €5.79 within the United States. Those are only examples, with their dates: prices change, and the one that counts is the one shown before you pay.
Customs and import taxes
Our books are printed in the United States, so outside the United States they go through customs:
- United States: sent from inside the country, with no customs.
- European Union: the VAT of your country is included in the price you pay. Since July 1, 2026, the EU charges a customs duty of €3 per item on parcels worth up to €150 sent from outside the EU (until July 1, 2028), and the carrier may ask the recipient to pay it on delivery, sometimes with a handling fee. If that happens with one of our books, send us the receipt and we'll refund what was paid.
- Canada, Australia and New Zealand: the customs of the destination country may charge import taxes or duties, and the carrier a handling fee, which the recipient pays on delivery.
Tracking
When your book leaves the printer, we email you the carrier and its tracking number, and you'll find them in "My orders" in the app, with a link to follow the package. The last part of the trip is done by a local carrier in the destination country.
If something goes wrong
- Damaged or faulty book: write to us at dailyteller@naolito.com with your order and a photo of the problem, ideally within 30 days of delivery. We'll send you a new one at no cost or refund you; you don't need to send it back.
- Lost package: if the tracking stops or the book doesn't arrive, write to us and we'll sort it out with the carrier.
- Wrong address or not collected: if the package comes back to the printer, we'll write to you to send it again, once you confirm the address and pay the new shipping. Please reply within 30 days.
Printed books are made just for your kid, so they have no right of withdrawal and can't be returned, except when they arrive damaged or faulty. Everything is explained in our Terms.
