Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Welcome to DailyTeller! These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use dailyteller.com. Please read them with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your and your kid's information, and our AI notice.
1. Who we are
DailyTeller is run by Naolito SL, tax ID ESB67720276, with its registered address at Avda. Sor Teresa Prat 15, 29003 Málaga, Spain ("DailyTeller", "we", "us"). You can reach us at dailyteller@naolito.com.
2. What DailyTeller is
DailyTeller makes personalized illustrated stories, starring your kid, with the help of artificial intelligence. You tell us about your kid, choose an art style and a character, and we deliver new stories on the schedule of your plan. You can also ask for what happens in upcoming stories ("special requests").
DailyTeller is a service for parents. You create and manage everything; your kid only reads and listens to their stories in the reader.
3. Who can use it
- You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of every kid whose profile you create.
- You must live in a country where we offer DailyTeller. DailyTeller is not offered in the United Kingdom: please don't create an account if you live there.
- One account per family. You can add up to 4 kids.
4. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time link we email you. Keep access to your email safe: anyone who can open your email can open your account.
- Tell us right away at dailyteller@naolito.com if you think someone else got into your account.
- You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
5. Your kid's profile and photo
When you create a profile, you promise that:
- you are the kid's parent or legal guardian and you have the right to give us their information;
- if you upload a photo, it is a photo of your own kid, taken lawfully, showing only them (or only people who agreed to it), and with nothing inappropriate in it;
- the names you add for family, friends and pets are fine to use in a bedtime story.
We use the photo only to paint your kid's character, and we delete it within 24 hours. Our Privacy Policy explains how.
6. Special requests and what you write
You can ask for almost anything a good bedtime story can hold. You agree not to ask for, or write, anything that:
- is violent, sexual, hateful, frightening in a way unsuitable for kids, or illegal;
- includes someone's private information (addresses, phone numbers, school names, health details) or makes fun of a real person;
- copies characters or stories you don't have the right to use.
We check everything you write before it reaches a story. We may change a request to make it suitable, or turn it down. If a request is turned down, we tell you why when we can.
7. Stories made with AI
- Our stories, pictures and narration are made with AI and checked as explained in our AI notice. Anything flagged by our checks is reviewed by a person.
- AI can make mistakes: a detail that doesn't fit, or a character who looks a little different. If something is wrong, tell us and we'll fix or replace the story.
- Stories are fiction. They are not advice (medical, educational or otherwise).
8. Who owns what
- What you give us (texts, photo) stays yours. You let us use it only to make and deliver your stories and to keep the service safe, for as long as we need it under our Privacy Policy.
- Your stories: you may read, download, print and share them with family and friends, for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't sell them or use them to promote a business.
- We never use your stories, your kid's character or your photo in our marketing unless you give us separate, written permission.
- Ours: the DailyTeller name, Tali the dragon, our art styles, our website and app remain ours.
9. Plans, free story and payments
- Your first story is free, and we don't ask for a card to make it.
- To keep receiving stories, choose a plan. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay, including how much each extra kid adds and any taxes.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the price you accepted, until you cancel. Before a yearly plan renews, we email you a reminder.
- Cancel anytime online, in your account, in as few steps as it took to subscribe. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then stops. We don't refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
- If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
10. If you live in the European Union: right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, by writing to dailyteller@naolito.com. Because stories start arriving right away, when you subscribe we ask you to agree that we start immediately. If you agree to that and confirm that you know you lose the right of withdrawal once we start supplying the stories, the right ends when the first paid story is delivered. Your other rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Things that are not allowed
Don't misuse DailyTeller. For example, don't try to access other families' stories or our systems, scrape or copy the service, use it to create content about kids who aren't yours, or use bots to create accounts.
12. Suspending or ending your account
- You can stop using DailyTeller and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, especially to protect a child. If we close your account without you having broken the terms, we refund the unused part of your plan.
- If DailyTeller ever shuts down, we will tell you at least 30 days before and give you time to download your stories.
13. Our responsibility
- We work hard to keep DailyTeller running and your stories safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, such as for intentional harm, gross negligence, or injury caused by us, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
- Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to DailyTeller is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can take legal action in the courts of that country. Before going to court, please write to us at dailyteller@naolito.com: we will try to solve it within 30 days.
